There’s been a lot of talk Democrats in the party resisting Trump but this question and answer right here just three days ago at 7:19 really highlights how bad Democratic leadership really is as an “opposition” party.

Democrats have never been an opposition party, they talk resist while giving Republicans everything they want. The ratchet effect ensures that any Republican legislation never slips back to something more progressive. Their lesser evil ideology has resulted in incremental fascism. And that incrementalism has given us Trump

Wow you need to just stop spouting nonsense.

The specific opening lines right there say everything, but more importantly, this is no longer an issue of governance because GOP has decided there are no rules anymore.

    1. They are ignoring judicial orders codified by the constitution
    2. They are saying OUT LOUD that the executive branch doesn’t have to listen to the other 2 branches of government
    3. The Democrats don’t even have the votes to work within the confines of the legal apparatus here, which he says at your link intro
    4. The GOP is basically suspending the constitution unless somebody stops them

So what in the fuck are you expecting them to do here?

This is exactly what leftists told Liberals what would happen if they allowed someone like Biden to win the nomination in 2020.

If Democrats nominate Joe Biden, he may win, and we’ll have four years of weak, feckless Democratic leadership. And then, in four years, he’ll be defeated by a Republican Party even more openly white nationalist. If you nominate an Obama redux, you’ll just get a worse Trump redux.

When asked about what extent Democrats are willing to withhold votes to resist the Republicans, I sure as hell don’t expect a leader to throw up their hands and go all Ned Flanders parents and give up after trying nothing and then go on about more bipartisanship. Especially after making some clearly bullshit public claims they’ll do everything in their power to resist.

This is just weak ass, ineffective leadership and messaging that I’ve come to expect from Democrats so I really shouldn’t be surprised. But hey if you find this awe inspiring leadership, I guess go you.

Act like they have a majority and obstruct everything they can.

They don’t, and they can’t. If you want them to act bigger than they are, go ahead and just say that. As Jeffries said though “It will amount to nothing”.

          They don’t, and they can’t.

They have to unanimously vote for Marco Rubio!!! What the fuck do you expect our perfect angels to do? Not fully and lovingly capitulate at every opportunity?

They’re complicit and when you make excuses for them so are you.
