Pretty much what I use my locally hosted LLM for. Might not be as good as ChatGPT but I don’t really care.

Ill save them the effort. Yes I am, cunts.
Similar for gaming, “dead game” on a game that has way more than enough people to fill a lobby still. Or even worse if its a single player game.
A new British island?
Yeah I wouldn’t be too happy if I was considered a Nazi for the actions someone else took with software I made.
I think 4G is capable of enough speed, but doesn’t always deliver even close to it. So really the preference would be something that can increase the minimum typical speed more than focus just on maximum speed. Presumably that means good signal range and penetration.
Maybe, but you will win more pub quizzes and it’s better than brainrot content
Jizz their pants, presumably.
For 99% of things I completely agree. But pennies can make for cheaper and better quality bases for some wargame models and also penny pushers at the arcade are pretty fun. Pushing the minimum spend up on those significantly would not be great.
Overall it is probably still worth it but there are some good things we will lose.
Could you store a checksum of the backup with an NFT? Think I just threw up a little bit there, but perhaps there is actually a use case for them them. At least it proves the backup remains since it was created regardless of how many copies you have
How are external HDs not a backup? Sure if it’s left attached 24/7 it would also get caught by ransomware potentially but otherwise surely that is what external media is good for?
Most of my data isn’t that important, but have a script that can sync a live copy to several locations over the LAN and create a timestamped compressed folder of it, usually keep a few of the timestamped copies on external media.
Yep, all my GoG games would be installable without internet if I have the installer downloaded, games without DRM bought from the devs directly like Factorio would also work just fine. Loads of games are available outside of steam, some are even on github for free.
I don’t use any one format. No idea what audio formats I have but probably a lot. Never cared, VLC takes them all.
Damn reading the impact this has is some combination of hilarious and horrifying to see people bought into a service like this. If it was free or simply a monthly sub like Netflix I could kinda understand. But a sub to use things you also had to buy? Fuck that.
It was supposed to be a joke
Touching grass
In the UK they sometimes just confiscate their tents to make the problem go away
I think at this point it would be funnier to just use something obviously unsecure like discord but share your public key with the other user and then send encrypted text.
Just look at /r/vegan, even if you don’t eat/use animal products you are still not a vegan unless its for their specific reasons. If you do it for environmental reasons they decide you don’t count as a vegan.
I don’t see this option sadly, only block instance/community/user. Would love to block Trump/Musks fucking faces from my life.
