I was on reddit for over 10 years, the ban message I received wasn’t from the mod of the sub or even from the sub itself, it was from reddit admin claiming mod harassment

I was sitewide banned from reddit and never the sub

I was direct but polite, I didn’t understand why and my appeal and messages to reddit admin have gone unanswered

I’ve been banned lots of times before by overzealous mods and even sitewide banned with false reports from trolls but a simple appeal always sorted it out in less than 24 hours

Not this time, it’s been over a month and I’ve heard nothing. Time to move on

  • Welcome to the club

I politely asked a mod about a subreddit rule and got a sitewide banhammer for harassing a mod

I appealed a few weeks ago and they never responded

Their system won’t let me send another appeal because it says I’ve already sent one

I had been on reddit for over 10 years, the whole thing is absolutely wild to me

I was livid until I found Lemmy, I much prefer this over reddit. It feels like old reddit and I even got my 3rd party app back!

  • Can’t happen

Congress: A two-thirds majority vote in both the House of Representatives and the Senate is required

Constitutional convention: Two-thirds of state legislatures must call for a convention

    Ratification

Three-fourths of state legislatures or conventions must ratify the amendment

Each state legislature must vote on the amendment in an up-or-down vote

State legislatures cannot change the language of the amendment

This bill is DOA, it’s just (more) political theater

If anything it’s an admission of the realization that Trump won’t be able to accomplish much of anything in just 4 years at the pace government functions
