I’ve done a little work with mistral. Useful when I’m writing unimportant several-page summary emails that I’m nearly certain nobody reads.

Art is one of those difficult subjects. As long as you’re not financially supporting them anymore (including with streaming) there’s no harm in having a relationship with a track that came from someone who had a downfall. I still listen to the Thriller album sometimes, and though it is always freighted with the context of what came later, I am able to separate the art from the artist enough to still enjoy the thing in itself.

One thing I know about myself though, is my instincts suck and I’ll probably be eating those words before long.

That’s kinda the difference - local specialties mostly can’t be beaten on their own turf. Also, in America you’ve got to actually seek out the good stuff and go local, the InBev stuff is meticulously targeted at swine with no taste.
