China said Friday that it will impose reciprocal 34% tariffs on all imports from the United States from April 10, making good on a promise to strike back after US President Donald Trump escalated a global trade war.
China has way more exports, so in the short term Trumps tariffs will hurt them more than whatever they counter it with anyways.
I like that we don’t have to put quotes around reciprocal this time.
They’re right to do so.

I get what forces behind Trump are trying to accomplice, using him as and his cabinet of morons as useful idiots, but so many things can in wrong, even if there were some brains at the helm.
