Now they can hide behind Trump’s order to the DoJ to stop all civil suits against government offices.
Every person in that chain of command should feel absolutely awful about how they personally acted. Not one of them will, but they should.

The family had to get 2 lawyers, a criminal and civil, then the fact that they have been harassed for 5 months had to hit several national and international news outlets for the NYPD, after having been found to be acting unprofessionally on their social medoa for years and after hiring a new chief that said they would reign that in, finally, finally, barely gave a weak apology about calling a 15yr teenage that watched his friend get shot in front of him a murderer.
Wow an apology. That kid should buy a lottery ticket when he’s old enough.
