I’ve always thought you can make a lot of sense of Trump and his actions if you remember he’s a degenerate real estate developer and looks at many issues through that lens. The cost of building materials (steel). Wind turbines fucking up “the view.” His weird spat with low-flow toilets. His stupid wall.
When he declares bankruptcy on the US, putin will be the “bank” that bails him out.

The Gaza stuff is particularly troubling. I suspect he’s trying to provoke a terrorist incident in the US so that he can somehow set himself up as dictator for life. There’s of course no precedent or allowance for it in the law, but he’s been making it clear that neither of those things are going to stop him.
