That was interesting to watch. I think the 2009 pair were real assholes, very angry people. The most recent one makes me feel old because I know the gwyneth paltrow version and that boy is too young to be Mr Knightly. I do prefer the older, less aggressive versions.
So they voted against the democrats and now they want the democrats to help them… somehow. I really do not get this attitude at all.
I read this as land mines in the seabed and really had to wonder why anyone would do that
Ok, I’m going to get hate for this but cognitive dissonance is not a pejorative or a synonym for hypocrisy. It’s a feeling one gets from holding conflicting cognitions that provokes further thought. I doubt his fans experience it at all as ‘trump said so’ is enough to make anything make sense to them.
‘Ideological neo parasite’ is just another way of saying thought crime which is pretty funny coming from Mr ‘ethos of freedom’.
Actual unpopular opinions are not allowed on unpopular opinion
They probably weren’t thinking about it at all and took the trolley back on auto pilot. Then they turned around and realised thay had walked way too far, cringed internally, and hoped noone noticed. You noticed and you chose to mske fun of them for it. Confirming that those of us riddled with anxiety are correct to feel constant shame about every minor mistake we make. Thanks.
We don’t have conscription in Australia and women went to prison to help stop it:
During the late 1960s, domestic opposition to the Vietnam War and conscription grew in Australia. In 1965, a group of concerned Australian women formed the anti-conscription organisation Save Our Sons, which was established in Sydney with other branches later formed in Wollongong, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Newcastle and Adelaide. The movement protested against conscription of Australians to fight in the Vietnam War and made the plight of men under 21, who were not yet eligible to vote, a focus of their campaign. In 1970, five Save-Our-Sons women were jailed in Melbourne for handing out anti-conscription pamphlets on government property.
Why would any woman stay home when the husband is going to ditch you and leave you with no way to support yourself. Never rely on a husband.
