I could see that working. I never liked PB&J due to texture issues, but always liked the idea of sweet + salty/savory.
Reddit -> Beehaw until I decided I didn’t like older versions of Lemmy (though it seems most things I didn’t like are better now) -> kbin.social (died) -> kbin.run (died) -> fedia.
Japan-based backend software dev.

Things really need to start now on establishing a party and running candidates from local on up to combat things in the next major elections. If the democrats refuse to properly do their jobs, then elect those who will.
Not exclusive to the US. Japan also has problems with it. When both spouses are Japanese citizens, they MUST choose one of their names to use by law.
or use starlink
I don’t know if I’d call that easy for some people in very remote areas. Easy for me, easy for you, but not necessarily easy in some cases. Here’s hoping a good competitor can get to those places.
I’m on board so long as we switch to a language that’s actually pronounceable like Norwegian or something.
I never got super into sci-fi; it just wasn’t my cuppa. I was always on the fantasy side of things with regard to fiction, being heavily into D&D and many of the novels around the various settings and characters. Edit: I’ve been a developer since the mid aughts and alternately worked in tech and other jobs before that. I wrote my first programs in basic around 9 or 10 when dad gave me something to do to keep out of his hair.
I thought “slow poisoning” said “sin posturing” and was very confused.
Replied to a comment there today; can confirm it’s alive.
Maintenance (already paid for) on both my motorcycle and car. I don’t want to drive a motorcycle in the snow, but I have to use it before time runs out (it’s +/- 3 months, I think). The car is due in April. I’m delaying making the reservations until next week when I get the results from some medical tests and get others done to figure out WTF is wrong with my body.
These are not the same thing. Yearly health checks in Japan usually collect two stool samples. I actually was ordered to get a colonoscopy because of the results of those tests to look for things.
I had a gf when we were both in our 20s. She had huge body image issues when she was a teenager. She always worried about ther looks, but she was beautiful to me and many, many others. At like 24, she couldn’t drink or eat anything too soon before going to bed. Liquids we’re the most dangerous but, if she lie down, it would come back up. The acid from vomiting after every meal permanently caused her health issues.
I would recommend therapy for one thing, but also not caring so much about what others think. And, believe me as I also struggle with a number of things, that’s so much easier than it sounds. You should find and do things just for you and not anyone else. That’s not to say you should be completely selfish or something, but you need to realize that you are important and respect yourself. Again, easier said than done and I even struggle with this as a dude in his 40s sometimes.
Nothing changes for long overnight regarding mental health. It will be a battle with ups and downs, but I think it’s a battle worth fighting. Please take care of and respect yourself!
“I have reduced the US’s debt by X” claims are one potential option. It could also be any other number of things.
From the US and I’m familiar with it through British media.
I’m a software engineer and I had to quit self-hosting due to simply not having the time nor the ability to research and keep up with security, products that were going away, new ones, etc. I have a job, run a farm, and do housework and other work. It’s just not in the cards for me.
