12 days agoFolk always seem to underestimate the effect of training and experience. In a match between two unpracticed players, sure, the more analytically inclined of the two will have an edge. This is true of any game with a strategic component. General intelligence helps but specialist knowledge is better.
He’s out doing what I am sure he thinks of as diplomatic meetings. The pope might be the leader of a criminal organisation, but he is generally thought of as a legitimate world leader. VPs do this kind of thing all the time, it just seems weird because no one can take him seriously.
