If you liked Kung Fu Hustle, Shaolin Soccer was a movie made by the same director, and it shares the same type of humour and amazing special effects. Worth checking out if you haven’t.

It looks like a decent movie, so hopefully it does better than that.

This is awesome! So many of these old cartoons do feel like they were a fever dream, for sure. Same with cartoons like Rocko’s Modern Life, Angry Beavers, Ren & Stimpy, etc.

As soon as you asked about what other cartoons were due for a revival, I immediately thought of Tekkaman Blade, too. I loved that show so much, even if it wasn’t the best.

I would also love to see a revival of Biker Mice from Mars, if it hasn’t been done recently.
