I feel like fast doesn’t change anything. “Surrender or die” is not very “peac-y” whether you’re in Kursk or somewhere else.

I agree that the part that is really messed up is that no one is stopping this.
You’re right. I just wish there was a way to change that narrative. I’m worried that too many people buy into it. I’m worried that too many people are buying into the whole “I just want bloodshed to stop” sayings.
Yes, and I’m very scared how many people mistake his attempts at appeasement as “peace”. What can be done? People are actually buying that Zelensky doesn’t “want peace”.
I was on a Viber call with my cousin when this missile was flying towards my hometown, where she lives now. We were both crying as she was getting the notifications saying how many seconds are left until it hits.
I’m very disturbed at how many people don’t realize what appeasement does and that when Trump says “peace” he means “appeasement”. I’m afraid that too many people don’t realize this or are scared of WWIII (which means, let someone else die, not me). Why don’t people realize the consequences ofof appeasing Russia? What can be done about this?
Oh yea, when Teslas first started appearing, I loved their whole philosophy and really wanted one.
While I’m not saying that your advice is wrong, I just wanted to point out that sometimes a “difference in political views” can mean a difference in values. Also, I wouldn’t be able to be friends with a Putin sympathizer. I’m not saying that the OP should break off his friendship. I just wanted to point out that sometimes it’s about more than just politics. Sometimes more is at stake.
That’s what I said to myself when he won to calm myself down.

Fucking shameful and depressing. Makes me realize that slogans like “never again” are not at all realistic because they’ll always be idiots who think shit doesn’t concern them, until it does.
You think so?
I do get that to a point. But to express this view so unapologetically is a little painful to see.
I too really wish people didn’t feed the trolls.
I really agree with this , as a fellow American.
Thank you so much for doing your part. I don’t blame you for feeling defeated. I hate defeatist attitudes, but it’s hard not to feel like that.
God, I so wish that an average American was smart enough to realize this. I feel like all they care about are their gas prices.
Yea, it’s a shame that the American people elected this clown to represent them. I’m really heartbroken they/we didn’t choose better.
Yea, this whole “matters that don’t concern us” take is really scary to me. It scares me that people don’t want to learn from history and realize that it eventually will.
As a Ukrainian living in the US, I appreciate people like you.
Right. But the point people are trying to make is that the title is somehow “misleading”.
