Either just coincidence, or I may have found a GAM listener in the wild.

It was right outside the courtroom. Since there are breaks and sometimes multi day trials, there are ways a defendant could be “in the middle of a trial” and not be in the actual courtroom, where the bailiff would be.
That works much less in an interconnected world (part of why they hate globalism). There are other countries keeping tabs as well. It’s also why we know of the many atrocities committed by the US worldwide. They can try and hide what they can, but it’s much harder these days.
Sir/madam/???, this is a community called Reddit. This specifically is where people would care(though I agree with the sentiment).
In addition there are unfortunately a lot of solutions on there. I’ve uninstalled reddit a long time ago and don’t browse/scroll it, but for specific topics and especially IT stuff I sometimes find solutions there. I may find em on stack exchange or any of the other various sites, including company forums, but sometimes Reddit will have the right solution. I’d rather it not since it seems to perform even worse these days, but it’s the unfortunate truth
I work for a managed service provider, and security for our clients is one of our most important goals.
Our CEO accidentally got phished then sent out emails to all our clients. We rolled with it by explaining kinda what you just said.
Same. In fact I worry about how often I feel like I’m sometimes slacking at work, but generally my numbers look good. I warned my boss not to spoil me because I can fall into bad habits.
I’m reading this on my 8" Onn right now … (I normally use a fold but my screen finally failed, and I like having a large screen for reading, be it books, manga/manhwa, or Lemmy). I used to be into flashing a while back but I haven’t bothered recently. I agree it’s a good idea, but it’s low on my current list of stuff I need to get done. (Like moving from Windows to Linux on my main pc).
Edit I do have the Amazon one also, but explaining why I bought the Onn when I already have a Fire HD 8 is just going to make me look worse…
Washington Times is a right wing rag started by the Unification church which is pretty much a cult, and tries to trick people into thinking it’s as legitimate as the Washington Post(which we can also argue it’s legitimacy, being owned by Bezos). It’s been criticized often, and any public figures who has quoted it more than once should know that, and are likely just ignoring the facts.
Just using the Washington Times makes him responsible.
Eh, I don’t really see an issue with it at my age, but I guess for younger people it could be bad. I’m in my 40s now, but aside from producing some data to be mined, I don’t see how people knowing that hurts me.
Organic may have. It gets people both on tge right and tge left, people who want more natural and less science/additives/pesticides, etc.
Often called woo woo stuff, it’s generally alternative to mainstream stuff, and can be harmless, or could be Goop, Alex Jones stuff, anti modernity etc.
Vegans and environmentalists can also sometimes take those feelings to extremes also, though we should never blame the whole movement on that.
An example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Savitri_Devi
Her motivations to turning to fascism looks to have been at least helped by her passion for animal rights, as lots of people in Europe still tortured cats at the time and she kinda hated people for it.
Lots of Christian types aren’t catholic, so wouldn’t care what he said.
Some have suggested it’s because of puritanical upbringing. Girls learn how to do their makeup and the like by experimenting etc, but many puritanical families may act like a teen doing so is “dressing like a whore” or something. So they grow up it having the experience, and don’t know what to do so just imitate what they think they should look like instead of finding the look that looks good on them.
