Honestly that’s probably just the data it’s been trained on, rather than explicit instructions to censor the incident.
Makes sense that a Chinese AI would be trained on more Chinese sources than a western AI.

In some Asian cultures, saving face is the most important thing in the world. Doesn’t matter if people die, as long as nobody important loses face.
Does the rich part of the Arab world care much about Palestine though? I know Iran (not arabs but still muslims) are close allies but what about Saudi Arabia, Qatar, etc?
They’re probably not happy about him pushing for more oil production in the US, but unless he plans on actively forcing oil companies to pump more, that’s not going to be happening because they don’t want their margins to be too low.
If he starts actively forcing oil companies to pump more oil, he’s probably going to be offed by good ol’ American lead rather than a foreign bonesaw.
Or did you mean some other reason?
it might be an easy thing for a group of foreign nations with some resources to rectify.
Yeah I don’t think any American allies want to declare war on the US, and I don’t think any American enemies are unhappy with that one person.
Where are all the fascists that are crying about less government and keeping our money in the US and only for the US?
They label it a sale and it’s suddenly OK. They ALSO send a lot of aid, but that’s only a bad thing when a democrat is in charge. Now that republicans are in charge, Israel is part of the US as far as aid and such is concerned.
there still isn’t even a real use-case for it
There are several real use cases for it, it’s just that they’re worth like ten bucks a month to me all together and OpenAI is running at a loss while charging… *checks notes* 200 dollars per month for their top tier model?
I wasn’t disagreeing with you, more like elaborating tbh.
I find it ridiculous too. It’s also one of the reasons everyone in the software industry has bad experiences with outsourced Indian software engineers - they’ll tell you it can be done, whatever ‘it’ is. They don’t ask for guidance because that would be losing face. And then you have Indian engineers reinventing bicycles, except the wheels are square. The other reason is socioeconomic in nature and irrelevant to the discussion here.
