Piracy already isn’t theft. At worst, it’s unlicensed copying. Conflating copying, where the original is not lost, to theft, where it is, should never have been done and was only ployed by the big companies to make it sound worse than it is.

Necessary for what? The word necessary implies a goal. Evil also implies a religious type objective morality. I don’t think though, that for the goal of living a happy life, any harm is theoretically necessary.

Justice shouldn’t he punitive, it should be rehabilitative. For that purpose, jail should only be used when there is no chance of rehabilitation and the person needs to be separated from society because they’re a danger to society.

In a similar vein, it would be nice to be able to subscribe to posts separately from having made them (and you could unsubscribe, which would be your feature), so you could also get notified for replies to posts you didn’t make, like you could on Reddit.

It’s also an identity and distance thing. Like, is the Baltic Sea the same, identity wise, as the Mediterranean? Even if the Baltic Sea is very large, if there was a corpse right below me in it, I wouldn’t want to swim there.
