EU can deal with Russia alone well enough. Assuming US doesn’t come in on Russia side of course.
They did elect Trump to speak and act on their behalf tho
Or US supporting Russia.
If Ukraine says no, Trump’s going to double down on the “it’s Ukraine fault” narrative and start supporting Russia to promote “peace”
There’s also the small issue of “history doesn’t repeat, but it often rhymes”.
