I feel like he’s a kind of modern-day Delia Smith. He has recipes for almost every meal you could think of but they tend to be quite basic and often not authentic - like the time he pissed off all of Spain with his ‘take’ on paella. He’s also said and done some really dumb things.
I’ve been given a couple of his cookbooks over the years but I think my mother-in-law has them at the moment and I’m not missing them.
Not really. The fun ones seemed to end with Avengers End Game. Now they all seem to be about the multiverse but the problem there is it lowers the stakes. Any character who is killed can just be replaced with one of their multiverse clones.

One of the best programmers I ever worked with was ‘in it for the money’. He was what Goldman Sachs used to call ‘long term greedy’ though which meant he had an eye on the success of the project above and beyond his own responsibilities and his own code. That’s why he was one of the best programmers.

I don’t have a huge amount of respect for recruiters having been involved with them on both sides of the hiring process.
It often feels like they treat it like a numbers game - minimise effort by just throwing enough resumes at a job and hoping one will stick and then earn an easy cut. That will earn them more than seriously trying to match candidates with jobs.
