Or in case you meant latin. Because I’m not sure what the point/significance of trying to translate it to Greek would be.

You’re not wrong that Sanders had some of the most toxic supporters. And still seemingly does. But there’s a lot of reasons for that. Part of it was that many of them just like the concept of him and were not supporters of him for any particular political stances. He was the candidate that the GOP focused on promoting the most, to divide and conquer left-leaning voters turning them against each other. Something Sanders himself didn’t want. But which worked in spades.
Sanders the person I think is genuine and a great candidate. I would easily vote for him AOC or Warren on any given day.
I was still referring to the last decade so yes. 2015 till now. That particular patch of time. People were telling her as the most principled and moral candidate rivaling even Bernie Sanders.
All the people that tried to convince me over the last decade that she was somehow an intelligent principled candidate. Where are they now LOL. She was worse than even I implied at the time.
Gotta love James. Super creative, and he’s joined the movement to de enshitifying peoples lives picking up Linux and working to switch his workflow to open source alternatives.
It’s not that they can’t. It’s that they don’t care enough. Plus they enjoy the suffering.
The Ace of spades!
A mind like a bowling ball. Blunt, smooth, and significantly dense for it’s relatively small size.
It’s not a threat to someone’s health or life. Simply pointing out that he’s a fool to think that similar groups wouldn’t turn on him if they wanted to. All gung ho to try and join them. I think the comment is safe.
Are, are the liberals in the room there with you? Roll your forehead across the keyboard if so. Seriously though. It’s laughable looking at the levels of cognitive dissonance shared between people making arguments like yours and the maga crowd.
It’s definitely limiting. LoRa wan meshed network is more useful. But most people don’t have a LoRa capable device. I could see something like this at a protest or public event at least. If there were enough nodes in the area the network could span hundreds to thousands of feet with the right conditions. But that’s a big ask ATM.
He used different terms in different places. And to be frank, I’m not sure I’d heard about unlicense before. But upon closer look it does seem to be a the goal. Despite not being valid or applicable in a few jurisdictions.
I don’t trust Jack. But this does seem marginally interesting. Actually decentralized, no servers supposedly. We’ll have to see. Again I sure as hell I’m not going to trust dorsey. And he’s got it under some cringey edgelord “unlicense” license which basically appears to be MIT just with a different name. The actual concept seems intriguing. But definitely nothing to get excited about currently.
Trust me the US will start taking from wealthy Americans as well soon enough. Once authoritarian groups burn enough Bridges and goodwill. They always have to scapegoat another group.
It’s pretty hilarious how so many people think that the boot isn’t the problem. The flavor of it is all that matters.
Unless you consider money charisma. I really can’t agree with you or understand where you’re coming from. Anyone who’s ever known the man as a peer or personally pretty much universally hates him for good reason. Including his Ex-Wives, his father, even his children, and that ghoul Peter Thiel.
People liked the concept of boosted Space travel, Electric vehicles, etc. Musk was smart to invest in them. But he had no contribution of note to any of those companies other than his money. No one ever cared for musk anymore than that. And then once his erol-ness was on full display finally the people who had been fooled had to acknowledge reality.
No it isn’t.
The only way for someone to think he was some awkward autistic rizz master. Was to be fooled.
At one point it was possible to not be paying attention. Getting distracted by the smoke screen etc. But even the most basic look into him and his history. No one would ever mistake him for someone with charisma or talent.
¿Por qué no ambos?
Rodney Anonymous being one of them. Well I guess he’s not necessarily indy? Though he’s definitely not mainstream. Outside of Punk Rock Girl I’m not sure how much else of their catalog got play… But they are legends up in Philadelphia. Which is where he DJs once a month for ynot radio.
The fediverse provides a platform individuals can completely control if they want. Or at least be free of a lot of unsavory restrictions and associations. And for a punk group like Rodney’s, that is even more important.
You don’t always need an expensive microphone. But a pop filter can make a much bigger impact than you would believe. Honestly the thing I see a lot of YouTubers using often that seems to work out quite well are lavalier mics. Not the traditional desktop microphones.
A lavalier microphone attached to a collar or lapel. Is generally outside of the direct path of your voice. So the need for pop filtering Etc is reduced. Though many of them do provide filters for it. Further since they are generally clipped to you the distance between you and them doesn’t change much. Meaning that your levels stay much more consistent and even. No leaning away from mic and then back in. And they sometimes have a few less issues with assonance.
That’s not even touching the headaches that can be simply capturing footage or streaming in obs. That rabbit hole goes deep. It’s also a lot of fun with a lot of opportunity to be creative.
And as I said in my other post I just don’t tend to listen to many podcasts at all. I have listened to behind the bastards a little bit in the past, Pod save America a couple times. Even the Retro hour a few times with RMC. But it’s just never been something that I have a lot of time available to focus on or desire to. Though I might give it a try.
Hmmm interesting. I don’t think I’d ever heard that before. I will have to look into it
