It’s not rhetorical. ML, Leninism is called that because it literally isn’t communism. Otherwise they’d just call it communism. It’s a cunning master plan to build an economy capable of somehow transitioning to communism. How? Good question. Even the ideologies creators didn’t really explain it properly. It literally fits the 3 step meme.

Step 1: slaughter everyone that disagrees with you.

Step 2: ???

Step 3: communism!

My criticism of Leninism isn’t defense of anyone. As an anarchist I’m anti-authoritarian whether they’re liberal/leninist/maoist. You’re all a danger to yourselves and everyone else. Regardless of how much everyone despising each other or constant whataboutism. Under capitalism oligarchs buy our representation. Turn them against us. Putting the boot at our necks. Under leninism. The Vanguard party consolidates power. Killing or imprisoning anyone who is a threat no matter how small. And rewarding friends and family with wealth and power. All the while the boot at the throat of the proletariat they’re supposed to be serving. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. They all need to be torn down.

Communism is stateless and classless. How are STATES with authoritarian unanswerable leaders/classes in any way communist?

You’re the only one insulting yourself. The toxicity is heavily attached to you. A lot of the rest of us are having a fine conversation.

It’s not my concern if you decide to continue self-sabotaging. That’s on you. You’re definitely not helping yourself and not fostering any actual discussion that’s for sure. You must be an Anarchist ironically. Just out for chaos. And not for Mutual Aid and understanding.

Absolutely. Anyone posting about Biden, Harris, or Democrats committing genocide etc. Especially still now. Is either just virtue signaling or trying to sew discord, and not actually interested in helping anyone but themselves.

It was a disingenuous claim from the start. It really downplays what genocide is. I say this as someone who’s family has been subjected to various forms of genocide by the US government as recently as my grandparents.

The US government as a whole has been enabling genocide in Palestine for at least a half century. And that’s shameful enough without false accusations. Well, they might become true now. But even then it’s not about any one person. Even Trump. He couldn’t do much without the craven, spineless and bigoted Republican party. And even they would struggle with out all the self-interested Democrats on the dole as well. The system is the problem. Swapping out any individual won’t even make a dent. And anyone who implies or acted like it would should have been ridiculed from the start.

It was the very final episode. Sort of a special. That wrapped up the series. Sometimes referred to as season 5. The name of the episode is the internet is coming.

Well it’s either that or Democrats continue to be beholden to the oligarchs.

This is all absolutely true. Though it is important to point out that it actually is better than what came before.

But just because it’s better than what we previously had does not mean that it’s good enough or that we should have stopped. We absolutely do need to basically dismantle the national leadership and build up locally. The national Democratic party should only be a facilitator for state democratic parties and not the core.

I knew you would not be one of the ones that learned. Enjoy the Trump administration. You worked hard for it. 😀

Real talk though folks. I’m chuckling a bit at the pyrrhic silent down votes. I bet I could name every one. But don’t be like the magats. Don’t give into the sunk cost fallacy and commit to destroying things like verdy and the others. There’s no value in unrealized ideological purity.

This will be a harsh setback. And a lot of our friends and family are going to suffer. But they’re counting on everyone getting their shit together. Learning the lessons that need to be learned. Standing in solidarity against the oligarchs. Better still, liberating the minds of those they manipulate to stand with us.

Whether you want an actual left wing party to electe. Or the relegation of neoliberal and liberal economic policy to the dustbins of history. That starts with relegating Republicans to the history books like the Whigs. Running and supporting actual leftist candidates locally. Especially in red States. And working to make democrats better at the national level where it makes sense. If Republicans disappeared tomorrow the current Democratic Party would crumble in an instant. Splitting into two at minimum. Wouldn’t that be a beautiful sight to see. But we’re not going to get there by destroying things. Only by building.

We don’t get much from the democrats. But at least we do get something. I’d really hate to be one of those people that spent the whole last year as “useful idiots” for foreign Nations and oligarchs. Screaming about how Democrats are just the same as Republicans and just genocidal murders.

I assume most didn’t want things to get worse. Didn’t want trump. This has to be like ashes on their tongue. I hope that they and the people they misinformed/demotivated. Will be ready to show solidarity if we’re ever given another chance at elections. And do what it takes to keep Republicans and their allies far away from any elected office for the rest of their lives.
