Keep boycotting all of Musk’s companies until he’s bankrupt and behind bars. Boycott Tesla and boycott Twitter. Remember to tell your friends that Tesla cars are unsafe because of their electric locks that can trap people in the cars in an accident and have build quality issues.
Why pay money to a company who wants to destroy you? No government should give a dime to Peter Thiel’s Palantir. Thiel is an evil sociopath who may have murdered his boyfriend. He also wants to basically abolish government. A government giving money to Palantir is like a snake eating its own tail.

Gillibrand must be primaried. Gillibrand’s top donor to her campaign was AIPAC and she’s received a lot of money from Coinbase (cryptocurrency) and Andreessen Horowitz (yes Andreessen as in Marc Andreessen the egg-head Trump donor).

Instead of some greasy podcast hack I’d much rather hear from professional military analysts and foreign policy experts. Bannon’s opinion doesn’t matter in the same way my opinion on how to perform open heart surgery doesn’t matter because I don’t know anything about open heart surgery.
Also what’s disgusting is Spotify recently allowed Bannon’s podcast back on. That’s why I’m again calling for people to contact Spotify and complain about bringing War Room back, about Joe Rogan’s disinformation and Andrew Tate’s hate. Or consider canceling your subscription and when you cancel fill out the reason why you canceled, mention it’s because of Bannon, Rogan and Tate.

I sometimes wonder what if everyone who spends money on licensing fees instead takes the same amount of money and puts it into FOSS. Imagine what we could achieve? Likely the money would be used more efficiently because they could donate it to non-profit companies which don’t need to pay tax.

If you’re feeling frustrated by lack of power to do anything what you can do to help is chip away Trump’s pillars of support. Have you ever played Jenga? If you pull out enough blocks the tower will eventually fall. The biggest blocks holding up Trump are the billionaire wealthy donors and the right-wing propaganda machine.
Twitter is an example of both right-wing propaganda machine and owned by the biggest political donor to the GOP and one that we all can easily make a difference in by personally stop using it if you have an account and urging your friends and family to also stop using Twitter. Then try contacting organizations with an account and ask them to switch to Bluesky. And of course boycott Tesla and boycott Starlink too. If you like buying stocks maybe invest in SpaceX’s competitors.
For billionaire donors you can boycott their companies for example Uline is another big donor. We can make a difference. I see them as a good boycott target due to their reputation of being overpriced. Whenever you buy something online look at the box and labels. Do you see the words Uline on it? If so contact the vendor and tell them that Uline is overpriced and unethical, they can save money by switching to another supplier. This time we need aggressive offense. Relentlessly and accurately blame the Republicans for every single failure they caused.
The irony is when we get over this we’ll likely end up replacing our American-born doctors with immigrants to replace all the people lost.

Build fiber to rural areas so they won’t need Starlink or if you currently use Starlink see if fixed wireless is possible, maybe with a parabolic antenna on your roof or on an antenna tower you could get a signal. Keep boycotting Elon Musk until he’s bankrupt.
There are some lessons here in the article that I think other politicians can learn from. We’re often baffled why some people like Trump so much. It explains how he’s able (from the perspective of a supporter) feel raw, authentic and validate their concerns.
Of course we don’t like him because we study his actions, not his words and know that the “solutions” he’s proposing aren’t going to help his supporters or help anyone except perhaps the richest of the richest or rather the very wealth people within his inner circle and even then it seems like he’s not helping all of the rich or anybody because he’s hurting the economy which impacts us all no matter how rich or poor.
So I think the lesson is a politician who could evoke a similar feeling of authenticity without the divisiveness paired with real progressive solutions that will help the average American would do very well in an election and as president.
Let’s make the fallout long outlast his presidency by building a better country, changing the system to better protect peoples rights and ensure this never happens again.

Also I’ve heard Oracle has a bad reputation when it comes to government contracts, very expensive poor quality software ripping off our taxpayers. I think they ought to be blacklisted or at-least require extra review due to their reputation. To be fair the article does claim that “The project required an expenditure of up to a billion dollars to do it right. CUNY Central offered far less. All but one of the bidders dropped out as a result”. I’m confused why it needs to be so expensive, even $600 million seems like way too much.
Yes, this the truth right here. He’s not really leaving, he’s just going to be running things in the shadows. We must not fall for Musk’s ruse. He’s a huge threat to our national and will be a huge threat until he’s bankrupt or behind bars.
Keep boycotting Tesla, keep boycotting Twitter, keep boycotting Starlink. Keep urging other people to do the same thing.
