I’ve got the opposite request. Allow users to toggle the lemmy setting that disabled downvotes even if they are on an instance with downvotes enabled.

This is a possibility on the basic lemmy UI but not on voyager currently.

I think you should create an account on a different instance. That would demonstrate to the admins that you want the ability to downvote enabled.
