      they already did this with soybeans, they never recovered since china found other sources for thier soybean addiction.

      I’m torn. On the one hand, you are right. It does seem to be a MAGA voter constant that they don’t see the evil of their actions until the feel the consequences personally. On the other hand, we Americans all need to eat, and we now cannot painlessly import our food.

      They will get helped, just watch. That is the point of all these blanket tariffs, hurt everyone and then make exceptions for their supporters and friends.

        Let’s fucking go.

        They made this bed for all of us. Time to sleep in it. We’ve got rice ‘n beans. We can grow potatoes and raise chickens.

        If they feel the pain, they may change their ways. If they’re kid-gloved away from the consequences of their own choices, they most certainly will not.

          depends which states source thier food, tropical food comes from south of the border anyways, and from asia.
