I recently watched Angie Tribeca and thought the first season had the same absurd/surreal humor as The Naked Gun/Airplane! and wondered if something like that just doesn’t play the same way that it used to.
Honestly chuckled at the jokes. I have more hope than I did before the trailer.
I dunno, if the trailer isn’t just the only funny parts, this could be a good thing, despite it being a necromancy movie.
They aren’t just recasting the old roles, or recycling scripts, so I’m cautiously optimistic
LMAO, did they use Liam because they have similar names? Genius. I’m going to watch it. I hope it’s good.
That last joke about OJ, made me think that they might actually pull it off.
They were also both known for serious roles but are good at playing comedy straight.

It’s too perfect.
This is hands down the best scene of the whole series. I come back to it every so often.
It looked better than expected, I’m still cautious, though.

Also the jokes we’re funny and just as stupid as the original movies.
